coon rapids dam – east bank upper mississippi river this hawk had his eye on me…or the cardinal couple in the trees next to me. I suspect the hawk saw the bright red male cardinal as though he was “burning by the water” and ready for lunch, while the green female blended safely into the woods work…. however the big fat pigeon on the wires could change the menu…… buy Grateful Dead – Sunrise
