Are there any omens relating to these incidents?

My mom goes outside every night to let the dogs inside and she always sees something different. Usually after she sees them, something strange happens. A few weeks ago she saw a cardinal outside I assume in the pecan tree. Last Friday my house was broken into and everything important was stolen. The day after, I received a letter from the high school of my dreams I have been wanting to get into since second grade, and I was denied. My portfolio was perfect, my auditions went really well, and I was confident. But it broke my heart knowing i couldn’t go.
Tonight, my mom walked outside and saw a baby owl, just sitting by our empty pool. I’m not sure whats going to happen, so is there an expert on omens anywhere here who can tell me what the BIRDS mean and does the cardinal relate to my experience?

Bird Watching is said to be one of the most relaxing and peaceful hobbies that anyone can do.
if a cardinal shows up at your house, it means someone is coming to visit. the best day to see a cardinal is on Friday…it brings good luck. they are associated with being soul mates for life. cardinals have always been extremely lucky. "If a cardinal flys in front of you that’s good luck, if they land in front of you that’s good luck times ten." if you see a cardinal in front of you, that is a sign that you have more love than you ever imagined, either in your life now and/or in the very near future. The number twelve connected with the Cardinal is why there is a folkloric belief that they are lucky. When a Cardinal flies into your life you can expect a change for the better to occur within twelve days, twelve weeks, twelve months or at the hour of twelve. Or if you observe a Cardinal flying upward toward the sky you will have good luck. Be sure to welcome the Cardinal to your windowsill for it is the spirit of a recently deceased relative or friend.
The cardinal is a bird of GOOD luck, NOT bad luck.
The Owl is a bird with a poor reputation despite being known for being wise. Perhaps this stems from the fact that the Owl leads a nocturnal existence and that the night is associated with the time when darker forces and negative energies are present.
The ancient Greeks revered the Owl and believed them to be sacred to Athena, the Goddess of Wisdom and Learning; thus the Owl was considered wise and kind. An Owl flying over a Greek army insured victory.
According to the legends of the Kwakiutl tribe of British Columbia, the Owl calls the names of the people who are approaching their death.
There are a lot of superstitions associated with Owls. If an Owl lands on the roof of your house, it is an omen of death. If an Owl nests in an abandoned house, then the dwelling must be haunted. If an Owl hoots during a burial service, the deceased is bound to rise from the grave and haunt the living. When you hear an Owl hoot to prevent bad luck take off your clothes, turn them inside out and put them back on.
Even if you don’t believe in the superstitions, the eerie call of an Owl in the stillness of the night can send cold chills up your spine.
(there are good supersitions on owls but there are a lot of bad so in my opinion they’re kinda nuetral)
You are freaking insane. Just because you see a bird doesn’t mean the world is coming to an end. If you see a dog peeing, does that mean you’re going to get a raise at work? If you see a raccoon, does that mean you are going to get in a car wreck? See where i’m going with this? You are just thinking they mean something. I see birds all the time.
